The assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025, during a notable speaking event at Utah Valley University, sent shockwaves across the nation and beyond. This heart-wrenching incident prompted widespread mourning and a fervent condemnation of political violence, illustrating the deeply troubling state of discourse in contemporary society. As a prominent conservative activist and the founder of Turning Point USA, Kirk's sudden and violent death has raised significant concerns surrounding the safety of political figures and the spiritual state of our nation.

Etsy Witches Hired by Jezebel

However, a peculiar narrative surfaced through an article published by the feminist online publication, Jezebel. The piece discussed individuals hiring witches on Etsy for the purpose of casting curses on Charlie Kirk. When I first learned of the article, I found that the publication claimed it was a satire and had retracted it citing legal advice and compassion for the victim’s family. Such a retraction raises questions: was the piece merely intended as satire, or was there something more nefarious going on?

Curses Fact or Fiction

As an ex-witch, my experiences with spell casting reveal a troubling truth: spells manifested more frequently than I’d care to admit. This should come as no surprise to those familiar with spiritual warfare, as Satan wields significant influence through his demons or individuals under his dominion. Yet, it is crucial to remember that his capabilities pale in comparison to the unparalleled power of our God. For believers, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit offers protection and strength against such influences. This brings us to a pressing question: should we take spell casting seriously? And can they have any impact on Christians? Whether they can affect a Christian depends on several things but I believe when we’re are made aware of them, we should take them seriously.

Overview of the Balaam Narrative

In the Biblical story of Balaam and the donkey, Balaam was sent to curse Israel but God forbid him and said his curse would come out as a blessing and that’s exactly what happened. The point being that God took the curse serious enough that He intervened and turned every attempted curse into a blessing. For this reason, I believe if we’re made aware of a curse, we should rebuke it, pray against it, heed the Word of God given to us and trust in the Lord’s protection.

The Significance of Prayer in Warfare

Prayer is a powerful weapon of our warfare, as notably seen in President Trump’s first term in office, when witches in New York City gathered to cast spells against our president. It is evident that he remained under God's divine protection when the arrows came flying, illustrating how prayer shields one from impending harm.

Turning What Was Meant for Evil into Good

In moments fraught with uncertainty, it becomes crucial to reflect on the divine hand at work in our lives. As we explore the situation surrounding Charlie Kirk and his team, it has been said that they were aware of the preemptive strike from the Etsy witches, and that a priest had come over to pray with them. What type of prayer was prayed to fend off an attack and were there any prophetic words from God, we don’t know. I personally believe, it was a time to gather believers together to engage in spiritual warfare, it’s unclear if this was done. However, one certainty prevails: God holds ultimate dominion over all circumstances, allowing Him to transform what may seem like evil into avenues for good. Though the murderous bullet may have extinguished one voice, it has ignited multitudes more. The conversations initiated due to this sorrowful chapter highlight how diversity can become a platform for awareness and purpose, engaging young people in meaningful dialogues about their beliefs.

A Greater Evil than Etsy Witches Bargained For

While the Etsy witches may notate in their book of shadows what they deem a successful curse, their hard work may have only contributed to a greater evil already at work targeting Charlie. If anything, their success was enabled by the enemy’s attack from all angles against Charlie. For instance, a book called “The Shooting of Charlie Kirk” by a fictious author, was released on Amazon the day before his murder. A song called Charlie Kirk dead at 31 was released on song cloud in August, this too has been removed but they are indicators that there was indeed a malicious plan at work far beyond the Etsy witches. It appears it was more of a collaborated effort, though the Etsy witches themselves likely were unaware of the real demons they conured up, nor of the consequences they will endure.

Introduction to the Jezebel Narrative

The story of Jezebel, a notorious queen in the biblical narrative, serves as a symbolic representation of wickedness and idolatry. She is remembered primarily for her role in leading Israel into the depths of idol worship and for orchestrating the murders of God's prophets. Among the numerous accounts of her malevolence, one figure stands out—Elijah, who managed to escape from her wrath. The actions of Jezebel have not merely faded into obscurity; rather, they bear profound implications that resonate in our contemporary society. It’s not just coincidence that the online publication’s name happened to be Jezebel which sought out the help of Etsy witches to achieve the goal of silencing Charlie Kirk.

The Jezebel Spirit: Understanding Its Manifestation

Often referred to as the 'Jezebel Spirit,' this term encompasses various demonic spirits that influenced Queen Jezebel. This group of demons, which has historically demonized individuals, can manifest through manipulation, deceit, and seduction within various social contexts. As we observe the world around us, it becomes essential to recognize how this spirit has permeated modern culture, reshaping societal norms and expectations. Biblical texts, including the Book of Revelation, reveal the Jezebel spirit in the end times, along with a warning to the church to remain vigilant against this spirit and its goal of moral compromise and to uphold the purity of their faith.

Could the Jezebel Spirit be responsible for the attack on Charlie Kirk? For instance, some suggest that recent cultural confrontations could point towards the resultant effects of this demonic grouping. Notably, the connection with the trans-community often brings forth discussions that underline this spirit's potential resurgence. This along with the perils of idolatry, manipulation, and specifically the attack on the prophets of God are clear indicators of the Jezebel spirit at work. Understanding the Jezebel connection enables us to better recognize the patterns of influence that persist in modern society, and the reality that demons not only exist but attack using those under their influence as pawns to achieve their goals. There remains a continuous struggle between good and evil—one that requires vigilance, discernment, and an unwavering commitment to truth. Don’t be mistaken, this targeted attack involved more than one demonic spirit, and we mustn’t forget we are in the midst of an ongoing spiritual war.

As the nation mourns the loss of a charismatic voice in the conservative movement, it is essential to reflect on the impact of this loss not just on the political landscape, but also on the values and principles that unite us as a nation. The passing of such a prominent figure serves as a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of upholding the ideals fought for. In times like these, it is paramount that we remember that God is sovereign and that the enemy remains subject to the limits placed upon him.

God's Purpose in Difficult Times

In the midst of tragedy and uncertainty, many may question the purpose behind such events. We do not claim to know God’s purpose in all things, yet we can perceive that He often takes even the most horrible situations and uses them for His good. It is in these moments of grief and reflection that we can find strength and resolve to continue the work left behind. The lessons learned from Charlie’s life can inspire the next generations to carry the torch of Judeo-Christian and conservative values with renewed vigor and conviction.

As we navigate through this dark period, we must also recognize the opportunities that arise from profound loss. Turning Point USA is stepping up to the plate in reaching the youth and fostering a love for conservative ideals. With new chapters being added to its mission, daily igniting a fire of patriotism and faith, with more voices emerging to fill the gap left behind, ensuring that the principles of liberty, free enterprise, and personal responsibility continue to resonate with future generations. The enemy may have thought he silenced a voice, but God is raising up thousands more.
